     Welcome to My Chinese language class

    1. Course Objectives: In this class, we will focus on developing your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Mandarin Chinese. Our goal is to build a solid foundation in the language, understand basic grammar and vocabulary, and become more automatic in everyday conversations.
    2. Course Structure: Listening & Speaking: We will practice pronunciation and communication skills through a variety of interactive activities and conversations.
    Reading & Writing: You will learn to read and write basic Chinese characters and sentences, improving your comprehension and written expression.
    Culture & Context: Understanding of Chinese culture and media will be built into the lessons to provide context and make learning more engaging.
    3. Learning Materials: We will use a combination of textbooks, online resources, and multimedia tools to your advantage. Please make sure you have your textbooks and any other materials ready.
    4. Participation: Active participation is the key to success in any language. I encourage you to practice speaking as much as possible, asking questions and interacting with your classmates.
